报告人简介:

Hyung-Taek Kim is the Full Professor in Division of Energy Systems, and the Director of Energy Systems Research Center of Ajou University. He is also the Chairman of Korea Association of Gasification Technology, the Committee Chairman, Working-level Committee for IGCC Plant Design / Construction / Operation, Ministry of Commerce, Industry & Energy. He received his Ph.D. from Pennsylvania State University in 1985.

Prof. Kim has published more than 100 scientific articles in the field of energy engineering and power plant technology. He has been awarded for the scientific publication by The Korea Federation of Science and Technology Societies and Korean Energy Engineering Society, and the Minister’s Award in R&D of Alternative Energy, Ministry of Commerce, Industry & Energy, Korean Government in November, 2002. He has the Best Laboratory in the Area of IGCC R&D, Ministry of Commerce, Industry & Energy, Korean Government.
